Our Values
The principles that guide everything we do
All our recommendations are based on published research and proven methodologies. We continuously update our guidance based on the latest research findings.
We put shift workers at the centre of everything we do. Our solutions are practical, accessible, and designed to fit into real-world shift work schedules.
We address the whole person - physical health, mental well-being, social relationships, and professional performance - not just individual symptoms.
Safety is paramount in shift work environments. Our strategies prioritise reducing fatigue-related risks and improving alertness during critical work periods.
We focus on actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately. Our guidance is designed to be practical, cost-effective, and sustainable.
We recognise that shift workers come from diverse backgrounds and industries. Our solutions are designed to be inclusive and adaptable to different circumstances.
Who Created ShiftPlans?
ShiftPlans was created by a group of people who worked for over 50 combined years under shift conditions within the utility, NHS, and armed forces environments. Drawing from real-world experience and extensive research, we understand the unique challenges shift workers face every day.
